Meet Kelsey Koontz

  • Kelsey developed a passion for sports and fitness at a young age. She transitioned into competitive Olympic weightlifting after finishing her collegiate track and field career at Lock Haven University. She continues to compete as a senior national-level athlete and has done so since 2020.

    While at LHU she earned a Master's degree in Health Science. Kelsey works in the medical field as a Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedics. This professional expertise uniquely positions her to understand the biomechanical intricacies of weightlifting and to provide tailored coaching advice.

    Kelsey obtained her USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coaching Certification and actively coaches’ athletes at both local and national levels.
